Electronic Signature

It associates data in electronic form and is used to identify the holder of the signature and to indicate that he/she approves and recognizes the information contained in the message.

It replaces the written signature.

Steps to obtain the Electronic Signature

  1. Enter your request here.
  2. Go to “Certificate Application”. Fill out the form and attach the requested requirements.
  3. Once the application is approved, pay for the certificate at the Civil Registry office.
  1. Pick up your certificate at the selected office, carrying your ID card or passport.

Requirements to obtain the Electronic Signature Certificate 


Natural Person


  1. Scanned copy of ID card or passport in color
  2. Scanned copy of updated voting ballot
  3. Scanned copy of the last electricity, water or telephone bill.


Legal entity

  1. Scanned copy of ID card or passport in color
  2. Scanned copy of updated voting ballot
  3. Scanned copy of appointment or labor certificate signed by the legal representative
  1. Authorization signed by legal representative
